On the third floor (with lift), set in extensive communal gardens, this apartment sleeps 4 people. The décor is alpine but with a contemporary twist. The living room has large windows which look directly onto the mountains. There is a glass door that leads out onto a wooden balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view. Back indoors there is a sofa and a TV. The dining area, with a wooden table that seats 4, is next to the open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge and coffee machine.

Location
The apartment is on the edge of the village of Argentière, close to the forest, but just a short walk from all the amenities; the cable car for Les Grands Montets skiing area (230 metres); ski slopes and shuttle buses.
The nearby slopes are ideal for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some of the higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. For younger guests, the Panda Club (6 minute walk) offers skiing lessons with more endless fun and games throughout the year.
During the summer months, the choice of activities is endless; stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding.
The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. For self-catering, Argentière’s weekly market is on Sunday mornings (in season) for the freshest local produce. Chamonix’s market (12 minutes), Place du Mont Blanc. Takes place every Saturday morning throughout the year. Alternatively, there is a supermarket just a 7-minute walk from the apartment.
Geneva Airport is a 1.5 hour drive. If you are arriving by train, Argentière railway station is a 6 minute walk.
